Chard & Kale

Bright Lights Chard
I love the way the leaf veins/stalks "glow"
Leaf veining:  one of my many shape-obsessions....

Chard & Kale make great winter garden plants in S TX

Here are a few things I planted on Monday.  I went a little crazy and spent the entire day working outside.  One thing led to another, and before I knew it the roses attacked and scratched me up.
Well.......that is sort-of what happened.

Below are a few photos of how nicely the "studio" garden has filled in since being re-organized last fall:

This area is directly outside the north windows of my studio.
The entire area is intended to look like a dry creek bed

  1. The gardens really look nice! I like the "cry" creek bed a lot! LB

  2. Oops! I just caught that. Ahem. Important to proof read. Twice!
