Drumroll, please......

For the past couple of months I've been working on an exciting, top-secret project.  The bad news is I can't tell you what it is...until tomorrow.  The good news is I can show you a couple of little peeks, and you can come back tomorrow morning and learn all about it!

  2. looks like a fun project, looking forward to see all of them..
Question.. I mount ( hand sew and glue) my fabric art on painted canvas. But looks like you are wrapping your fabric around to the back. Are you taking the canvas off first or making your own frames and then stretch the fabric around..
How are you finishing the backs, I glue on felt and finish with screwed in hooks and wire. Am curious how others are doing, and if there is an easier way. vivianhelena@sti.net

  3. I have stretched cloth over plain frames, as well as stretched over gessoed canvas. These are stretched over gessoed canvas gallery-wrapped frames.
I will happily post how I have finished the backs of mine. In the past I have covered the back with black felt, but I finished these in a different way that I think I prefer. Please check back as I will post some images of the backs of my work in the next few days. I'm happy to do it!
