Weddings

The newlyweds bicycle around Market square after leaving the courthouse

As we sat in an outdoor cafe we observed one wedding party after another enter and leave the Town Hall.  Most departed in fancy vintage cars and limos, but the last couple of the day rolled down the courthouse ramp (to the cheers of the crowd!) on their red bicycle.  Then, in true Dutch form, the bride sitting sideways on the front fender of the bike, they made a couple of laps around the square.
